Wow, Lil J Seinfeld, for being still on probation at UPS, you got balls to say that. why don't you get at least a full year in at UPS before you start talking like that. By the way, you seem pretty happy that alot of people will probably get furloughed, another good reason why I would never want to work for UPS, no wonder your management treats you so badly. You are brand new out of the Air Force and already a chip on your shoulder, sad. You deserve the management you have at UPS.

CB,

I'm sure you would stay at CAT and pass up a job offer at Brown. Management treats the pilots so much better at your company.

What other operators would be affected by the UPS shutdown of DAY? Were you referring to a general slowdown in 727 ACMI business in general or specifically of UPS shutting down the DAY sort that will put 727 crews on the street?

Why do the ACMI companies think that the DAY flying is theirs forever? Why is UPS putting them out on the street? The nature of the ACMI business are contracts providing lift. Contracts expire at some point. It is up to your company to find more work. This is what puts your pilots on the street. It's not us. I hate seeing pilots lose their jobs; I've been there 3 times in the last 5 years, so I know how it feels. We here at UPS don't find joy in the fact that pilots may hit the street because of this, but if you are at an ACMI company, that is a risk that YOU are taking. It is not our fault that you are employed where you are. I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but it is reality; it is business. Those contracts were bound to end eventually.
