Question for anyone who has taken the ATP written at ATPS. Do you suggest buying the Gleim or ASA ATP study book and study up before or just go into the class and let ATPS prepare you?

Do not but anything! You work on their system and you will pass easily! It was a great way to knock out the written. I used them for both the FE and ATP written. Easiest testing I have ever done!

I agree with the above posters. However, if you are planning on interviewing at a compnay that makes you take a shortened atp written, then i might suggest the book. I think with the book you will retain alot more info.

Because I'm a cheap a$$ pilot... Bought the Gleim book and parked it at Starbucks for a few study sessions, and passed with no problem. I think spent a grand total of about $130 including the lattes.
