Does anyone know if there is an age limitation to taking the ATP knowledge test? I know you must be 23 to take the practical, but I am being told I must be 21 to take the knowledge test. Someone said it is only good for 24 months after I have taken it. I would like some help and if able the Regulations that determin this
 
The written is good for only 24 months. Although an applicant for an ATP can take the practical with an expired written exam if they are employed as a flight crewmember under part 121, 125, or 135 at the time of the practical test and....(FAR 61.39 (b))
 
FAR 61.35 Knowledge Test Prerequisites:

(a)(2)(iii) Date of birth, which shows the applicant meets or will meet the age requirements of this part for the certificate sought before the expiration date of the airman knowledge test report.
