Hey, just wondering if anyone has used this program. Sounds like a good deal. I found a similar one a few weeks ago, but can't find it now for the life of me, which sucks, because it was much cheaper. If anyone knows of any similar websites, please let me know.

Oh yeah, no holier than thou, "just buy the gleim book." I'm just not motivated enough for that.

I used the Gleim software for a couple of tests and I thought it worked really well. I would just take practice tests and when I was finished it had an option to give you a test with just the questions you missed. Really didn't do any studying and got in the 90's on (IGI/AGI/CPL/FOI/CFI/CFII) after running through the software for about a week (took all the tests in about 3hrs that Saturday).

The questions you know, you know. I really liked the giving me the questions I missed though because they would burn into your brain. It was also useful for picking up consistencies on the test. For example every W&B question for Commercial written was within CG so your answer was always the one that was within CG.

They also had a study guide which was essentially all the explanations you could look at if you wanted to (which I did to some extent for the FOI). But that aside never even looked at the explanations.

Get motivated. Just Kidding. ATP (The School) has a great one day crash course to pass the written, but I used the Gleim book and actually learned some things from it. Learning pallet weight/Jet flight planning/121 or 135 regs was kindove fun, and made me feel like I had "made it" at the time. Looking back it was just the beginning. Either way, good luck, its a tough test.

Do the ATP(the place) one day program. I did and it was just way better than beating my head against the wall with repetitive rote learning. It cost me, what, 250 bucks or something, got a 96 or 98 % (not that ANYONE cares) and it filled the square to get the rating. This is the best way(imo), especially if you're not motivated.
