just a quick question. will the G.I. Bill assist civilian trained aviators with a type rating, was enlisted active duty for 4yrs.
 
GI Bill will pay for any training beyond the private pilot license. Doesn't matter where you got your flight training. If you have the GI BIll, they'll pay.
