Dial 800-ALL-ATPS and the guys that answer the phones there are ALL ATPS instructors, except for three of them, being nice, and ask to speak to an instructor, more than likely one of their instructors working the "pit" will answer.
EDIT: This is what I just heard, working in the pit answering phones is $2000/month before taxes. This is to keep guys from quitting before they actually go fly.
Flying the airplane and instructing, $900/month before taxes including housing, you share a room with another instructor. They are nice condos, sometimes. No medical benefits, etc.
Bonuses: (ONLY PAID WHEN CHECK RIDE PASSED FIRST ATTEMPT)
Private Multi- $100
Instrument- $100
All other check rides, including ATP add ons, commercial, etc- $40
Signing guy off for X-ctry time building (302 Ride)- $100
This information just came from several ALL ATPS instructors, and students, God bless their souls. I mentioned what you posted, and nobody knew anything about it, so either it's not accurate currently, or they are getting a raise. Presently though there is a............. $500 signing bonus for new instructors. The $3600+ a month salary goes to their training managers, and theres maybe like 4-5 of those guys, and those are long term positions.
One new perk is that ALL ATPS instructors who have over 300 hours dual given for ALL ATPS receive the CRJ course as a bonus. I'd like to say free, but working all kinds of insane hours, all day long, timing out 8 hours a day, and then going to the sim to instruct for another 8 hours, the CRJ course barely makes $900/month for several months worth it. It is CRM and a sort of Jet experience though, that CRJ course.
