Atp.... 135/121?

If you plan on getting your ATP by upgrading to captain at an airline, the 121. If you plan on taking your ATP in a light twin, the 135. It really doesn't matter though. An ATP is an ATP.
 
In reality it does not matter. The 135 will be easier and you will never get a pallet wt question when you upgrade in an RJ they don't even look at your ATP written just that you have it!
 
I took the 135 written back in '97 and neither ACA nor AA even so much as questioned it... in fact got hired at both without even having the actual ATP. Just doesn't matter.
 
Took the 121 written way back when. I patted myself on the back for taking the BIGGER test but, in truth, nobody cared.
 
The truth is, it doesn't matter. You can take whichever test you want. They're equally worthless in relating to real life.
