What has been the time line of a resume submitted to a phone call to interview?
Anyone?

Don't know about the phone calls.....but I hear the interviews are still running hot and heavy.;)

Interviews are being conducted in MIA next week, was in the office and heard from the folks there!

I have a friend who is getting furloughed next week - she has tons of CRJ FO time but little PIC time if any. What are the minimums for consideration at Atlas/Polar? Do they require turbine PIC time?

Also, is it likely that a newhire would go directly to the Stansted operation?

A recent poster had just gotten hired with a 400 class and STN base. I didn't know they were basing the 400's out of STN. Sure would like to know if all the new hires are going to Atlas only.

I dropped a friends resume on the cp's desk, called to interview within 2 weeks in class within a month....

Just spoke to the boys in the school house....Interviews and hiring will continue, in cruise mode, through October.:D

Man, me too! I guess just for $hits and giggles, I will shoot another resume through the fax!

Polar contact info

I was wondering if anyone knew the fax number or email for the CP or flight dept at Polar.

thanks

A question for you Polar guys... actually a few questions.

I have sent in my resume (a few times) and just recently had a new hire there recommend me. I have 4100 TT, 1500 Jet PIC, 400 turboprop PIC (All part 121 airline time), I have been a checkairman on both planes and the head of training on the turboprops (thats why the PIC is so low, I was driving a desk and classroom). Am I missing anything the company is looking for or am I wasting my time because I dont have someone with seniority there walking my paperwork in.
The second question.... What are the chances of a strike at Polar ? I noticed that there have been contract negotiations there for over two years?
I have wanted to work there for some time and it is the only resume that I have sent out and am regularly updating ( some pilots think Im sick but the scheduling and lifestyle at least to me seems appealing...you go to work for a long stretch and then you have a stretch of days off).
