Atlas in HSV

My understanding from friends that work at the Mercedes plant in Tuscaloosa is that M- R- and now GL-class are shipped overseas from HSV.

Centurion (DC10's) used to have a contract flying frieght from Brussels to HSV.....maybe Atlas is doing it now or Centurion needed some extra lift.

Atlas started flying out of HSV in 1997 for Panalpina. They mostly fly to Luxembourg via Prestwick. They also fly to IAH and MEX with inbounds from ANC. The flying is varied but they have always had at least one airplane in rotation through HSV since '97.
