Atlas has a bunch of guys on furlough right now. Doubt if they'll be hiring anytime soon. I would guess that 3000 hours including heavy jet time PIC time would be about the minimum once they did start hiring. When the hiring boom in the majors was on, F/O attrition was about 25% a year and they were hiring guys with less time and no heavy experience. From the captains I talked to, all complained about the low quality of F/Os they were getting when hiring standards went down.
