My mistake Wyoming, pat yourself on the back for a job well done.Whats the matter did Hete steal your job away?
You can pat Hete on the back. He took my job also, but they have been recalling a few at both ATI and ABX. ABX grew their charter business and Dasberg just gave up on any outside non-DHL business. Is Astar still in business? Last I heard only a few DC-8s flying. My mistake Wyoming, pat yourself on the back for a job well done.
Rumors here at Atlas indicate we could be flying a dozen 767's out of CVG by Summer for DHL. Is there any room for us? How much work is there?
There is a 19 acre expansion going on right now for additional ramp space for 9 wide bodies.

The rumor on our side, is where you're getting your 767's. DHL owns the leases on about a dozen (just a guess, I'm not at work) CAM 767's that ABX is flying now. The ABX agreement is not an ACMI cost plus any longer. DHL has a separate lease on the equipment and a separate agreement for the crew services.
Yours is the umpteenth time I have personally heard the rumor. But rumors just don't start out of thin air. There had to be something to spawn it. Something in writing somewhere. I am trying to track that down.
DHL also owns 49% of Atlas's sister company Polar
Astar has 8 DC-8's and about 100 pilots operating now. It's anybody's guess as to their plans for the future. Right now it looks like 747 cargo is where the growth is.You can pat Hete on the back.
