If they are worth 60 bucks why not just cash them in yourself? I remember sitting at Atlantic LAX and watching a private MD-11 from Saudi Arabia fuel up for the flight home. That Atlantic bucks printer seemed like it ran for over an hour.
 
Because unless you have $200 to turn in for the initial funding of the card, they aren't worth anything. $50 is better than nothing!
 
Remember you get taxed on them. So you should not pay face value to someone for them. You are loosing money if you do.

You only receive receive a 1099 if you exceed $600 for the year....
