Here comes the fun...or the suck, depending on how you look at it...

I know. I'm seriously considering asking the Mods to permanently ban my screen name so I can do more productive things with my time.

I've considered renouncing my membership to do as you say but I know I'll eventually get bored and pay the $10....

On the bright side, I haven't yet had to resort to the ALPA board so there's still hope for the day.

So...if our 3 day turns into a 4 day because of this, how do we get paid? (regarding the 4th day)

1) The higher of:

Flight Block X Hourly Rate X 1.5
or
3.75 (min daily credit)

2) 3.75 (min daily credit) X Hourly Rate X 1.5

3) Or a pat on the back?

I mean...I love being stuck in a crappy city for an extra day. I just can't figure this one out.

Please look it up in the contract first; then, if you can't find the answer maybe someone can help.

Section 13: K) 3. b. says:
b. If a regular pilot is extended by the Company, such pilot
will be paid and credited at his applicable hourly rate
times 150 percent for the actual or scheduled flight pay
hours outside his original trip-hour period, whichever is
greater. If a pilot flies or is credited with less than his
minimum monthly guarantee, the premium of 50 percent
for the rescheduled flight pay hours will be paid and

credited above his minimum monthly guarantee.

I hope that applies. If not, I'll try and find something else.

They will pay you what ever they want. File a pay query and you might see something in six months. God I do not miss that.

Snapperhead, thanks a million for your help.

Yea, I saw that section but I was trying to figure out if the 3.75 rule applies since it falls on the next day (my 3 day now a 4 day trip). The contract is clear if it's on the same day, but if it is extended to the next day...does that matter?

If so, does the 150 percent apply to just the actual flight pay (in my case about an hour) or the whole 3.75.

So confused.

I don't know if I make any sense here. I hope that I am. This falls into a gray area...at least with my tiny brain.

Thanks again.
