Silver Ace aviation in Peachtree City, Bill Mercure is the man. Teaches in a Pitts S-2B. Honest stand up guy, would give you the shirt off his back. One of the nicest most well rounded guys I have met in aviation. Great airplane mechanic as well.

Wasn't hard for me to figure out! BTW, how you doin at SA down in FLL? Oz told me you were flying for them now. So it seems you were right about XJT, the are better opportunities out there. You would probably still be an FO. If you still want FL let me know. I'm sure Oz, myself and many others would go to bat for ya. Of course we all know how that went last time  . I guess I am bad luck.

If I am way off on who you are, please forgive me.

Looks like fun! Where are you going to base your Op's in Atlanta?

Thanks, it is very rewarding. I'll base at the new Paulding County Regional Airport once it opens in 2008. Until then I'm looking at working out of either Stockmar in Villa Rica or maybe Cedartown. Just too much congestion anywhere closer to Atlanta.

Hope you can come out and fly once I'm back on line!

Best regards,

Tids

I'd like to do that or even get a ride for my father. I had a buddy that use to work out of Cedartown. Not much congestion out that way, just some skydivers is about it.

Roger! :)

Yeah, you're right. The Skydivers that operate there now originally tried Stockmar, but found the abundance of pine trees in close proximity to the runway fairly unforgiving. John Mann is also an old friend of mine and gave me my private ticket about 20 years ago. Still a cool little airport to hang out at, but I'm not sure if he has any hangars available.

Pls keep me in mind for the ride. I'll post a message on www.horizonblueaerobatics.com , here, and probably on airshowbuzz.com once I'm operational in Atlanta.

Fly safe!
