Actually I have a better idea how about they ban all airlines with less than a 100 seats and make the airlines reduce frequency and then the airlines might even be able to charge more. You can ban GA as much as you want the airlines are to blame for most of the congestion.

Exactly, better planning of flights, less RJs running around and maybe the system would work better.

When TEB was closed because of flooding, I was number 40 in line at EWR for takeoff. This is the same day CAL came out in the newspapers blaming the biz jets for the delays at EWR. Well you know how many biz jets were in the line up? Two, myself and a G4. How many RJs, probably 20+. It is crazy. The airlines have no one to blame but themselves, but that would be taking responsiblity for something and that isn't he way they do things.

Whether they are flying in only 777's or only RJ's the problem is the airlines keep trying to expand more service out of airports that are already strained. But like the government it is never their fault always some one elses.

Yes but this time they are telling a captive audience that some/part/all of the delay is due to private aircraft operating to/from TEB/HPA etc. What a crock.
