JFK : L-1011

737 MDW, IND

757 MDW, LAX, SFO, IND

L1011 JFK, IND, LAX

Junior base is MDW. If you get the infrequent placement to L1011 FO it could be any. I'm told the bases for L1011 are somewhat phantom, your actual trip will usually start somewhere else. I don't even know if any L1011 person is forced to sit reserve in base, they may sit reserve elsewhere. You can see the L1011 is for those who like to be on the road. They do seem to get a lot of time off though. You can bid 757 or 737 if that is not for you after 18 months on it.

Rumor has it the addition of airplanes will lead to a new domicile. 8 757s are coming (2 or 3 as spares) in '04 and a similar number of 737s are coming by the end of '05. Don't know if the L1011s will still be around at that time.
