should be interesting times ahead, best of luck to the many I know over there as well as to the entire group during these hard times.

The retention bonuses to C8 Chicago Express executives are so that the Certificate of C8 may be sold after its closure.
Update from ATA Management Presentations

With John Graber and Doug Yakola

Thanks to XXXX XXXXX for summing up the Management presentation for us!

Fleet News

L1011:
ATA will D Check them as they come up but are working hard to get widebody 767's as a replacement and as quickly as possible with projections of arrival in November. We prefer to get the 767's rather than D checking old L1011's, but whatever the case we must have at least 5 widebody A/C for the military.

757:
plan leaves us in 2006 with:
4-300's
6-200's

4 to 7 757's will continue to be dedicated to the military.

737:
Classics we are trying to get will be mainly devoted to MDW flying, and will NOT be reequipped with Inflight Entertainment due to cost and complexity.

737-800:
Will primarily be redeployed to west coast for Hawaii flying. John is confident they will get ETOPs certification. ATA has been able to renegotiate the lease rates to make them reasonable to keep over the 757's.

Total fleet:
Concern is for increasing seat pitch to reasonable levels yet adding seats, while keeping business class.... meaning business class can only shrink to eight seats to meet these requirments if we decide to continue the business class product for the long term. Hawaii flights will most likely retain business class.

Doug pledged to try to ensure better cleaning of our A/C.

Military

Yes it is making us MONEY ..... thank you very much and the present management has admitted this.

Concessions by group so far

Officers 10% pay cut
Directors 7.5 % pay cut
Managers 7.5% pay cut
Hourly Employees on a pay freeze.

All groups were thanked for their contributions.

The retention bonuses to C8 Chicago Express executives are so that the Certificate of C8 may be sold after its closure.

Approx. Staffing projections for 4/30/05

Pilots: 870
F/A's: 1106

John and Doug did insist things were very fluid day to day right now a bit at least anyway. So for now just hold tight, I am sure if this is the latest projection, they will make an annoucement soon.

The Overall Plan is still

Regaining Chicago presence through more marketing
Continued Codeshare with Southwest
Expansion of Hawaii Flying
Expansion of Military Flying

Marketing will continue with the successful 'Go Easy - Go ATA' theme.

Codeshare agreement requirements:

1. ATA must conduct at least 80% of our flights within 14 minutes on time

2. No more than 3.5 per 1000 mishandled bags

3. Must have less than 1% cancelled flights

4. Must have less then .35 DOT complaints per 100,000 passengers.

Codeshare bookings are still increasing and are at +800 PNR bookings per day thus far.

The codeshare agreement with Southwest does NOT preclude any merger agreement ATA or other carriers may undertake with us should that come about. The codeshare agreement though does not allow ATA to enter into another codeshare agreement with another carrier.

In their first 9 weeks since taking their new positions, this new management team is doing a far better job at communicating than what the old management team had been doing in the past year or so. Rxxxx XXXXXXXXX

I could have sworn I said something about ATA getting 737-300s (classics), but I was shot down at the time. I guess I was right, again.

No, I get slammed often, which is ok, but when I am right I like to make sure everyone knows it. Good luck to ATA.

Why because it doesn't happen often?
