Has anybody that interviewed at ATA between 8/11 and 8/14 gotten a letter yet? I know they said they would meet last Friday and then send out letters letting everyone know. I haven't gotten one yet, and the waiting is killing me!

Thanks,

ATA INTERVIEWS

I interviewed on the 14th and did not recieve a letter yet. However, I did hear that they didn't have the "round table" till monday so that may be the delay. Hang in there. The waiting game is killing me too..

waitin

Hey All:

Interviewed 8/11- no word. Has ATA scheduled any classes beyond 8/25? Any good info on future classes?

Heard the same thing about the "round table"...but that it might have been Tuesday before anything was decided...

Interviewed on the 13th and the waiting is getting old here, too!

Good luck to all!!!

Any news about future classes??

For those in the know:

1. How many in the pool? Is it still at 13?

2. How many in the class beginning on 25 Aug?

3. I know that interviews are still taking place. Will these folks be put into a hiring pool?

4. Any future classes scheduled?

5. Those in class this week, really would appreciate a class drop :)

6. Those that have interviewed the week of the 11th & 18th, there are still interviews scheduled for the week of the 25th. Any others contacted by Sharon for interviews later than this week?

Thanks!!

Good News!

No more trips to the mailox...got the good news letter on Monday.

Congrats to all who got good news...look forward to seeing you in Indy!!

Does anyone know about the next class date???

Got the letter yesterday, and I'm in the pool too!!! I read on here that they were supposed to have a class starting 8/25, so the next one should be in three weeks, based on what they told us. Good luck to all, and see you there!

Congrats to all who are recent additions to the pool. As soon as anyone hears anything about class dates, please post it here. I'm hoping for the Sept. class. I was put in the pool from the 7/23 interview group. So far, nobody from my group has gotten a call for a class date. We all are excited though and ready to join everyone in IND soon!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

So great to hear your good news!! This place is so great it makes you want to jump for joy. Take everything you hope it might be, and then add some- no joke. Tidbits: our class has 15 (3 L10, 3 73, 9 75) and the next class is supposed to be mostly 75. All the 75 folks got MDW. I've heard the next class starts around 20 sep, with 28 in it, but that's just what I've heard. Don't freak out if your training and travel info don't get to you until just a dcouple days before your class- the info you get on the phone with Training is all the info you need (so write it down). You can always PM me with any questions, but it might take me a couple days to get back to you (class is actually pretty busy). Congratulations again and I hope you all get here soon!

AUG 25 Class

Hey just thought Id say a few words about the Aug 25th ATA class while this thread is still alive.

Im in class with Harley Guy and Ill just reiterate what he says. This place is AWESOME!!!!!!!! You wont believe it until you get here just how great it is. Every day it just keeps getting better. From the contract to the benefits and to the great people. This is how an airline should be run and IS RUN. I must say they definitely set the bar. I know this cause I am really not a cool-aid drinker, but this place just makes you want it.

One quick example of a great airline at work. The company approached the MEC and asked for a LOA for concessions a while back. (Most likely to look good for the bank in their upcoming refinancing and restructuring of loan debt). They originally wanted the pilots to take a 4 month concession with payback at end of year. That got shot down, so they asked for a 1 month concession and payback at end of year. In the meanwhile the company realized the 3rd qtr results are going to be better than they planned so they came back to the table and rescinded their request as they deemed it unneccessary. WOW!!!

What I know about the Sept 29th(ish) class is that it is 28 guys and half and half 73, 75.

Thats all for now and good luck to everyone that is waiting for a class, interview, or a letter.

:) :) :) :)

Also heard that the next class is split 737 and 757 with 28 folks...but that it will begin on Sept 22nd.
