Did you call her or did she call you?

What was your interview date/job offer date?

Just trying to figure out where I stand in the pool..Thanks!

I met one of the chief pilots at a job fair. he always makes the speeches. what is his name, he was at obap, air inc in april lax and was in many other airlines before ata, excellent gentleman, i have an app and would like to mention him in the app.

Indy Chief Pilot Mike Gerdes. 2 Classes in Feb from what I have heard. Biggest new rumor is another bid coming out in next couple months with 100 new captain slots and new base (could be anywhere). More and more good stuff will happen now that the bond agreement has gone thru..

ATA's Next Classes

Chuggin' the ATA koolaid in the Jan 5th class in Indy right now. Classes sked for Feb 2nd & 16th, and March 1st, 15th & 29th.

Interviews starting again in mid Jan, week of the 19th if I remember right. 200 new hires in the first 6 months of '04. Probably get word in the spring about potential new pilot base and add'l routes. Rumors of SFO, PIT, PHL or Charlotte. MDW is reaching saturation quickly.

Next 757 is on the ramp now, 5 more later this year. 7 737s in 2005.

Momentum is building....

100 more Captains? A CLT base? My head is spinning. Maybe It's my third beer after being awake for 23 hours. This native Tarheel wouldn't mind coming home.

Oh well, Mt Fuji was gorgeous this morning. I need to enjoy this part of my career while I can before I start slogging into and out of MDW.

Good luck to all who aspire to work at ATA. It's been a heck of a ride for me so far...
