Does anyone know if ATA is still sending out applications and how long it takes after you send them your resume to receive one? Also was wondering if they have hired any furloughed pilots. Thanks

Yes, they do hire furloughed pilots. But only if you were ex-TWA.

A friend walked my resume in with a letter from him and I received an app within a few weeks. It's been about a month since I sent in my app and no word yet.

ps. Just kidding about the TWA thing. Good luck, it seems like a great place to work for the next 26 years.

Haven't seen a real pattern regarding the delay in sending out applications. From the time I sent my resume to the time I got the application, it was about a week! Once it was in, I was called for an interview just a few months later (I had no inside connections either). In the pool now and can't wait to start working for them - it's a great place to be! Good luck!
