Ok all you application gurus.

On the ATA application they want Transport jet and Other jet. Question of the year. What are they classifing as Transport jet? Anything over 12,500lbs or only jet like b737, b727?????

Ok and here is the last question. Under flight times they have captain and FO. What do they want all your single engine classified as? I would assume Captain, except for pre private, but you never know.

Any help would be appreciated.

The way it was explained to me by a line pilot there was the jet in question had to be certified in the transport catagory.

The ATA flight time grid is VERY easy.

Don't make it any tougher than you need to. Cessna 172 time is CAPTAIN single engine recip time (or whatever it said). Any airplane that is certified as a transport category jet (CRJ, ERJ, 727, etc) is just that.

Its a very simple flight time grid.
