Nope. Barbara Billingsly. You know, the one who uttered the immortal words : Ward, weren't you a little rough on the Beaver last night ?

For someone waxing poetic about bankruptcy, you would add credibility if you could spell it. Sorry man, that one just jumped out at me.
Gee..Sorry, the T sticks on my keyboard, and I mixed an S with a C...and if that's all you got out of my message I've got some US Air stock I'd like to sell you. Spelling Nazi to the rescue.

Here's a thought....

Maybe these people that called in sick are smarter than everyone else and realize that USAir is a lost cause. Now, if that were the case, and I had a bunch of sick time in the bank, I would sure try to use it all up before USAir filed Chapter 7 and all of that sick time disappeared into the black hole called "Liquidations".

Just something to think about....

Here's another thought.....

"Sick Time" is for illness, you know....being sick. It is not extra vacation time, though way too many people treat it as such. For employees to abuse this in such a flagrant manner, shows a certain side of their humanity that is missing or warped. They ruined thousands of peoples holidays who had done nothing at all to them, over some sort of misguided "get even" with managment, or simply wanted to ignore the responsibility of the job they were hired to perform.

Smarter? How about just plain mean spirited and selfish.

Just something to think about....

How dare you misspell "management"! The only thing worse than that would be misspelling "bankruptcy"!!

;)

WAAAA Waaaaaa WAAAAAA! Give me a break! I am sure if you could strip the employees of their "humanity", the USAirways management team has accomplished it already.

Yup, screw the paying public. That's keeping in the holiday spirit. Hope you got your lump of coal. Everyone going through PHL got theirs from US employees.

Thats why you fly SWA when going to Philly. Personally, I don't blame the employees at U one bit. I also think its sucks for the passengers. Its a lose/lose deal.

Let's see. Lakefield cuts everyones pay by 40%, then comes back for more, including furloughing and outsourcing probably most of the same junior people that had to work the holiday.

Hmmm. . . . as a manager that's savy in human relations and behavior, what do you think might happen when you've put those workers backs against the wall and have the proverbial gun pointed at them??? What do they have to lose??? Hmmmmmmm????

Evidently, the U management team doesn't know. Being a competent manager involves experience and moxy in the real world. This management team has been in a purple haze for the many many years.

Besides, let's see exactly how much higher (if any) sick leave was. U management staffs so thinly now, I'll bet that a meltdown would have occured no matter what. Then I suppose Jarhead would have been angry that the workers didn't work overtime to make up for management's userous staffing.

Now they want people to work for free on New Years. This management team is so stupid they defy belief.

Um, I would take "paying public" out of that quote. The employees are subsidizing the air travel for the public.

I didn't even get a lump of coal....I got nothing! :(
