All Falcons, except for a couple gulfstreams acquired from AT&T (SBC purchase). Gulfstreams are going to be replaced by Falcon 7x. Dont know too much about schedule but heard its not bad, not sure about starting pay but top out around 150K.

You can forget about it!!!!! They just merged with BellSouth, and they are kicking most of the BellSouth pilots into the gutter. They got a good seperations package, but I don't think they will need any pilots for a while.

I hear that Big Coke is going to get the old BellSouth hanger.

I "heard" a recent newhire started at about 65K.

schedule or not -- that suuuucks.

Gotta love it when the East Coast guys chime in on salary expectations. A salary of $65,000 in San Antonio, TX has the same buying power that a salary of $108,971 has in Danbury, CT. If you put my hometown in the salary calculator he'd be making $174,473 and I don't live anywhere near NYC. I think that newhire is doing just fine.

If thats how you want to justify a DA50ex captain making 65K......

Sleepy,
I don't mean to be a jerk..............but before you spew your mouth on this board, you should know what you’re talking about :angryfire or at least ask if someone knows before you make a insulting comment.

For the record, we at at&t have a long history of buy-outs and have been very generous and gracious to the acquired flight department. Not only have we offered positions to most or all of the pilots, they get to maintain their pay and get massive amounts of moving benefits and no loss of other benefits even if they are above and beyond the current benefits for the acquiring (us) department. The Bellsouth and Cingular pilots are not an exception!! If we are ever bought, I hope that the same compasion is shown to us.

Yes, we bought Bellsouth (Cingular was co-owned between the original SBC and BS). Hence, at&t owns Cingular and will be rebranded as at&t wireless.

Currently we operate an all Falcon Fleet (900EZ, 900EX's, 2000EZ's, 2000, 50EX's) and probably always will - the GIV's we sold several month ago that came with Legacy T and the delivery on the first 7X is later this year. I'm not in a position, on a public board, to say where our fleet is heading.

With regards to pay: I'm not going to say what we make but you are over 6-figures in your second year in cash. Benefits add another 20K to that and there is also a fully-funded pension (we can all debate if that will be around when I retire - probably not! but who knows).

This is a great place to work! I am very fortunate and blessed to work with great people and awe-inspiring leadership!

I interviewed at SBC 8/05 and was placed into a hiring pool pre AT&T. To the best of my knowledge the hiring pool was pretty much dissolved after the merger about 12-05 because the flight department was not given approval to hire. Or maybe I was a little too vocal about the pay around some folks in SAT and or on this website. No matter now swimming in the big brown pool. As I recall the offered pay was 75000 to start. You have to look at it as you are a copilot with a type and forget about all that co captain stuff because you are going to spend all your time in the right seat until guess what you make captain. The pay is pretty much in line with everybody else in SAT. USAA, HOLT, VALERO only HEB starts out significantly higher and you have to remember to account for bonuses and stock options. Don't think they are hiring but if you happen to get the job congratulations.

The Gringo!!
