Curious as to what the industry average pay would be for an Astra FO based in the Midwest...

Any help would be appreciated!

Not sure about the midwest. In the Atlanta area probably $70K and the company pays for the type rating.

I think I need to move to Atlanta! I'm on the west coast. The company paid for the type but I don't make anywhere near that much $ (and I just got a raise). Our Senior Astra captain barely makes that much. 70K sounds a little high for an FO.

HMR,

Well I would venture a guess that both of you are underpaid. Go to salary.com. That is just one source... there are many others. Of course we all know that your COL is much less on the west coast! HA!

An experienced "senior" Astra captain should be making much more than 70K.

And I am guessing Astra Guy is talking about a quality F/O who can get a type right away and be a real PIC in a year or so...

Astra Guy, G200-

I asked around a bit and you guys are right- we are underpaid! I think I'll show this thread to the boss. If you know what Astra captains are making in your area, PM me.

Thanks
