Hey Rhoid, don't put words in the mouths of the ABX Air pilots. We are quite capable of thinking for ourselves. The vast majority of us support our Astar brothers and see through your tripe. Just because you listen to a few "public" union hotlines doesn't mean you really know what is going on. Too sad.

So if Astar strikes, would you support your Astar brothers then?

If ABX furoughs, would you support your own.

I think not based on previous actions.

So as far as watering holes go...is Bunker's (the old Gen. Denver Hotel bar) open again? Buffalo Wild Wings is OK. When's ILN gonna get a Starbucks, though?

You've got a ton of great places in DEN within walking dist of the hotel. LODO is the place to go.

If things ever smoothe out a little, I'm thinking of opening a coffee place....seriously.

Eh, we'll see.

Hey is that BBQ place over near the end of the airport any good? Any other good Cue' in the area?

Multi reponse here. hehehe.

Booger,

I was hoping you'd found a "secret trout stream" I like to fly fish too. I guess it's poppers on a rod for now.

The Denver is open again. Nice, friendly watering hole.

Beaureguard's (I killed the spelling, I know) is a good BBQ place across from Stacey's food trough. Ask for the hot sauce, and soak the pulled pork in it. Not bad.

I dunno when they are going to get a Starbucks.

Looks like Rhoid has a new sock puppet. Getting a little testy that nobody's taking his flame bait, too...

(thanks to whomever I stole that from)

When ABXA was talking about parking aircraft last year, the pilots at Astar made sure that any ABXA pilot would be offered a preferential interview if Astar was lucky enough to be hiring at the time. Although it is just a small gesture on behalf of Astar pilot group, I think it shows that we are all in this together and that job security is paramount.

By bias toward Astar, Rhoid, do you mean the ILN-SFO-LAX-JFK-ILN transcon that ABX is taking over from Astar on April 15th? How back the ABX 767 that is replacing the Astar DC8 in PHX or the ABX 767 through flight that replaced the second Astar 727 in SLC starting today?

I don't see anything other than the all-too-common shuffling of routes that has been going on for quite some time. This month it looks like ABX is coming out ahead. Next month, who knows?
