how long are ppl typically staying an SO?

Currently we have inmates up to 9 years with no hope of parole off the panel. I am looking at another 8 years for a total of 12 unless I get caught shanking an over 60 retread in the yard during the sort. Don't Torpedo your career, find a flying job.
