I was wondering if someone could please explain this Obstacle DP on Page 10-9A (backside of the airport diagram) for Ashville (KAVL), NC. It reads:
RWY 34: climb direct KEANS LOM, or climb in visual conditions to cross departure end of runway northbound at or above 5100' direct KEANS LOM, ...
The problems is: The airport elevation is around 2165' MSL. So, if you take-off on RWY 34, how can you cross the departure end of the runway at 5100'??? That is approx. 3000' climb within a few thousand feet (5100-2165).
Anybody?
