you can download delta's flight schedule at delta.com, the pdf file will show everything in/out of a particular airport. the current version says the atr flies in every day except tuesdays and wednesdays.

atl-tlh 12: 08-1:23
tlh-atl 1:53-3:15

Also, is there a reason they bring that into TLH or does it just fit the schedule?
Do airlines buy planes like these anymore or they phasing them out?

short leg, low operating cost. a few places are getting Q400s, but that's about it.

Those large turboprops are making a resurgence as fuel becomes more and more expensive. Yes, people much prefer to ride on a jet, but it's just financially irresponsible to send an RJ on a run that could easily be done by a turboprop. Look for all of the majors (or rather their contracted out regional partners) to be using ATR/Q400 types for short hops in the not too distant future.

Sweet! I enjoy seeing something different. Is the ride that much worse anyways?

If you don't get sea-sick easily, don't mind being hot in the summer/cold in the winter, and the added noise and vibration then the ATR is for you!
