Update: ASA not going out of business. Phones back up. Pinnacle still most pathetic pilot group.

No. It was most likely a mutually decided upon strategy to use the 'grievance' process. That way, the company keeps our money, MEC leadership stays in management's good graces (free golf), and the line pilots- once again- get hosed.
