Ok so I surf the board today and the ASA threads include:

1. Guy who didn't pick up the phone when scheduling called.
2. One about a guy who waited on the ramp and got paid way over block... This thread was actually a rant that railed against management.
3. A thread that stated that the ramp was short on the 4th. Does ASA have a pilot with more than a year in the industry.

Let me help you all out:
1. The ramp will be short every day

2. It will be even shorter on the fourth, super sunday, Christmas, easter, Sundays during football season, and any other holiday. Unlike pilots, if rampers don't feel like coming they just don't come. They do that until you fire them because 60-70 dollars a day isn't worth it.

3. Flying in the summer increases. Lines will improve, reserves will be used, and junior manning will increase.

4. After the summer travel season. Lines will get worse, reserve will be cherry, and the ramp will work a little better (not good just better)

Ok you heard it here first. Now if the ASA pilot group could post useful rumors that would be great. I started a thread a minute ago that has already yielded a 30 ATR rumor. That is quality.

You have to understand. You are talking on Flightinfo. Where only malcontents come to bitch about anything and everything. Logic plays no part in any of the discussions.

ASA whine? You've got to be joking!

frankly, considering you guys aren't in BK and your company is still making money, I think a 93% vote in favor is a little weak.

Doesn't really matter what you think now does it?

VOTED IN FAVOR!

michael707767 said:
nope it really doesn't. But it does matter what management thinks and I bet they are less than impressed.

You may be right, or you may be wrong. Hey, didn't Billy Joel sing that tune. Anyway, 93% will send a message, not that mgt will respond. Depends on how far JA wants to take this. And, he may take it to a strike. See what we're made of. I'm ready to walk, and so are many others. This has to stop somewhere.

Spelling aside, the ASA pilots on this board are some of the most complaining and WHINY pilots here. Grow up.

Did you actually pull out a dictionary all by yourself or did your mommy help you?

Whine
2. To complain or protest in a childish fashion.

Bobby, that just about describes most of the Acey posts on this board.
Sad but true...

Fly Safe

Whiny and very immature. Then they complain because they aren't treated with more respect. The ones on here act like children, but fortunately they don't represent the majority of ASA pilots.
