I dont really understand why ASA doesn't bring the displaced guys back. Wouldnt that save them money from training new guys from scratch?

I think this is exactly right. Only we see the big picture. Only we know what our costs are. Only we can spend money like drunken sailors. Just have a little faith in us to make the decisions for this company. Trust us.
 
Lastest preliminary award shows 20 upgrades. Will that go in seniority order or will the displaced captains from a couple months ago have first crack at the new positions?

Dunno. Maybe you should call the ACC chairman and ask him.
