Well, they were ACA before that....

How about they are paid for by Delta - nothing else matters, all the rest of us just transfer in and out at the whim of management. Flavor of the day style.

Well said Fins. This isn't the fault of ASA pilots, XJT pilots, Skywest pilots, Mesa pilots, or CMR pilots. We are all just trying to make a living. There is however a single bargaining agent that represents 4 of the aforementioned carriers and is trying to recruit the fifth, who is looking the other direction and cashing our checks... that is who should be held responsible for this mess.....

I don't know why you all hate management when they are so predictable. Who thought LAX would be open for more than a year? If you raised your hand you are the fool.

Watch they will open CVG soon. Guess what, that one will also close shortly.

We will not get any 900's. If you are an FO attrition is your only hope. If you are a senior Captain you are just flat out screwed.

I for one am happy. ASA was driving me nuts. I slept through a lot of buisness classes but I know having an airline that doesn't run on time, cancels flights, losses bags, and consistenly makes the USA todays worst of the worst articles should be out of buisness. The fact that ASA makes money makes me lose faith in capitalism.

Let me give you some more peace of mind:

New rules and accountability are being set by the contracting company! Lightning is about to strike! Heads are going to roll!

Axiom of Capitalism--There will always be some companys that make money and survive--even when all the traditional rules are broken. There will always be very well run companies with great business plans that don't survive!

We exist at the whim of the company that contracts out our services. The mass (assets and manpower) will always be there, but the ones who run this operation are at risk.
