Vac bid extended out because of "unforseen circumstances". One of two reasons for this that I can think of: A. They are retarded and can't figure it out B. They found out that there may be more flying coming/leaving. Kinda leaning towards A myself.....

I would have to go with A myself.

Is it just coincidence that ASA's effective date for it's most recent position notice (upgrades & recalls) happens to coincide perfectly with the Sep 1st date for Comair base closures in NY and other DCI base shuffling?

What the heck is Delta up to?

September 1st is also the date that Mekong is requesting their guys to ship out.

ALPA says they didn't comply w/ contract requirement of 10 days from notification to bid close. Guess they can't read over there. Maybe they'll get more bidders now???

So I guess it was C then. Weren't they supposed to put out a projection prior to the close of the bid like they did last time? Would be nice to know before the bid is gonna close how things would pan out as of today because I have a feeling there's gonna be more than just 12 upgrages....
