HECK where as ALPA been for the last 3 years--WE all should stay home for one week and ALPA can file bk just like the airlines after they are fined and just reorg. under BK like they do.....

STAND for SOMETHING ALPA--or like we are doing

WE ARE FALLING FAST----THANKS for your great SUPPORT

Out of curiosity, how much does the average pilot pay in dues to ALPA? It seems a lot of people are saying they don't do a dang thing. What can union members do to light a fire under their a$$es?

1200.00 bones a year I pay! FOR WHAT???? For them to turn around and sign off on bs contracts! After 5 years of the regionals pay going down the tubes they try and announce some bs about 'Fee for departure' crap!
My alpa pin will stay is in plastic cup above my box of condems and motion lotion! Once they stop screwin the Regionals maybe I will wear it someday!!!

So what leverage do the pilot groups have with their unions? If their sole purpose is to look out for you and they aren't doing a dam thing, what can be done?

But we need to get back to the teamsters days of slashing tires and taking care of business..

ALPA needs to call Tony Soprano if you know what I mean.....

Light the fire under some mgt. a$$

The only leverage we pilots have to vote people out whom we don't think are doing their elected duties.

The thing is we can't even vote on people at ALPA (big alpa), but rather or LEC which votes on our MEC which might have a voice at the ALPA national level. I know, I know, everybody says if you want to make a difference get involved, but the average line pilot is at least 3 steps removed from ALPA as an organization.

I wear my ALPA pin Proudly!!! Upsidedown. When People tell me it's the wrong direction, I tell them so is the union. It's a form of quiet protest.
