You don't make $4,000 a month, junior. You make about $2900/mo, assuming you're on the CRJ-700. That's before taxes and before you account for the fuel you spent driving to KATL at 10PM to see your new shiny airplane arrive at the maintenance hanger last week. Tell me this, though. Did you put on your uniform before you went there?

Yeah I do. 2900/mo from nap reserve at ASA and 1200/month from Part time Daytime job. Whoops, you're right not 4000/month, that's $4100/month.:D

For a whole month? Thats not very good is it?

Those groupie girls are probably hookers because the hotels are in a not so nice location.

I have been a FO on the fiddy for almost 5 years and the most I have ever taken home after taxes for a month is around 3000.00. That was back in the day when we had high block lines. You know what I'm sayin? The second job gives me an extra 2G a month..that keeps the warden happy.

Hey, give him credit, unlike 90% of the boners that live in this country, he knows the gross amount from his paycheck. Ask most folks that question and they couldn't tell you what they gross, only what the government lets them keep. Change one thing in this country; the automatic deduction of taxes. Ask folks to send in their taxes like a montly mortgage payment, people wouldn't accept what they actually make if it wasn't made so easy for them. I suppose that will never happen though, how could we ever fund our new socialist society?

Man our pilot group must be getting even more popular. Every hotel we overnite at seems to be getting more and more girls standing out front waiting for us. Hope this keeps up, as long as one of our pilots doesn't pull a Chris Brown....

And your the one hanging out at the airport on a friday night to see a new airplane. Can you say

SJS!

Actually $4000 a month(before taxes) is pretty good for a 23 yr old almost fresh outta college, especially in a low cost city like ATL.

But you'd be right if I'm stuck at FO pay for the next 8 year Eagle style. The ladies would eventually run away hehe......

Ahhh there we go, the immediate "my regional is better than yours"

moron
