Employees get Performance Plus payout today for 1Q08 performance; Brad announces PP plan changes to put more money in employees’ pockets.

On the heels of a tough first quarter for weather and high fuel prices, ASA still managed to pull in a profit thanks to the efforts of front-line people companywide. As a result, eligible employees will be receiving a Performance Plus check today while Brad announces a modification to the plan for next quarter that is designed to put more money in employees’ pockets.

The new Performance Plus+ program will increase the total reward potential for all ASA employees, while sharing equal rewards among all eligible ASA people for operational performance.

Not much, thats why they are making the changes. $530, 320 take home after tax and union dues.

It may not be much but it's 100% better than our old profit sharing plan. Hopefully the new and improved plan will show much better results.;)

Just out of curiosity and comparison's sake...how much did ASA's operational bonus pay out for 1Q08?

5th year captain on reserve and i cleared $250. Was really hoping for a much higher number. Not sure what the 1Q net profit margin was but mabye it was low? MAbye the next one will be better with the new payout matrix.
