I've been applying to ASA going on two years w/ not so much as even an e-mail reply.....enough time (1240/135) and nothing! Wish I did have the bread to go spend on some CRJ training somewhere but oh well......

dont waste your money. plenty of regionals hiring. you have minimums for plenty of companies. eagle, air wisconsin, express jet, skyway, skywest......... apply to all.

Supposedly right now very small, however, newhire FO's will have no problem holding it. I will tell you that I have spoken to somebody in mgmt. and he has informed me that things are not going too well. I would be surprised to see it open past June 2007. That due to Delta, not ASA. Mexico was supposed to be the new "hotspot", I wonder if the ticket sales so far have been lousy. Right now for Jan, 8 lines have been published. More to come? Maybe. But that's a big maybe. Wrong, my neighbor is in upper mgt at DAl and they have know all along that they were going to loose money with us there. They are doing it b/c the city was under pressure form SWA and Alaska about them not using their gates, but they want to hold on the them until they get their China route in 08 and the Olympics.

Rumor has it that the most recent new hire class Dec 11, there are 20 newhires, about 8 of those are former interns, and median age is 24ish. Yes median!
They all got CRJ 200 LAX.
