Drum roll please.

The polls close some time this morning I believe. Anyone have any insight? When will we find out who our new reps are?

I thought voting didn't close until the 12th?

Lynn told me the polls close at 10am today and she will know something this afternoon. Keeping my fingers crossed for the coalition.

Results are usually available on Ballotpoint very quickly after the voting has closed. Just log in to www.ballotpoint.com/alpa and look to the left for the "view results" link.

Please let it be the Tomlin/Utley coalition.

I suspect fraud. No way we got smoked that bad.

Thank God! What say you now, Joey Merchant?

Actually it was only 46.6%. Pretty sad, really, for as much as was riding on this election.

Unfortunately, that's pretty good compared to most LECs. I wish I could get half of my council's pilots to vote in elections.

Heyyyyyy SuperKooter, what say you now? Didn't you all but guarntee that the JB coalition would sweep into power?

Voted In Favor - of "No ASA Pilot Left Behind"

I wouldn't say 46.6% is sad considering that was the best turnout this pilot group has ever seen for an LEC election. I was told the turnout has historically been in the teens for this type of election. For the most part I think the pilots knew what was at stake and they voted accordingly. Also, anyone who didn't vote was essentially a NO vote for management.

I can't wait to see the spin LJ and JB try to put on this one. A 2.5:1 ratio in favor of Team Tomlin is very significant. Like scott hall said....they got smoked. Now who's got the popcorn?

That's the best you can do after all of your rhetoric?

What happened to Landslide Lynn? She has ran for LEC office three times and has never even come close to getting elected. 10-1 that she will say she wasn't even running but that her name was placed on the Coalition 4 because so many others wanted her to run. Maybe her and the BoyToy can go to Camp Florida and recover while avoiding the media and their distractors. Maybe BoyToy will now STFU and she can go back into hibernation for the remainder of the winter. Running for office can burn a lot of calories and Mommy Bear is probably very tired. Now who has her honey pot? Tigger, Eyore, OhPlease, Scarlet, FightingIrish, Scott, Charlie, Brian, maybe that thieving Brian Wilson????

Ask about the grievance that every nap/reserve pilot has wanted for trading naps and being punished by payroll, but if sch. changes your nap or reserve day on a relief line, then you get nothing on top of 75.00 hours. Talk to these guys and they say--oh that is not worth griev. process. Well ask about 300-400 pilots that have flown naps in the last few years. Worthless !!!

I don't the source or accurracy of those numbers, but 1399 out of 17-hundred and something is more than 46%. I'd think anything would be good for an LEC election.

each pilot got two votes per seat so, 1400/3400 is about 46%
