"Beginning" of the end? Where have you been for the past few years.

Yes ASA does the Turks and Caicos route. They are also starting a ATL-LAN route, I believe in july.

The incredible shrinking Delta

Delta to end mainline service at BTR, PWM,

TUL; DCI to add flights

Delta on Sept. 1, will transition all of its operations in Baton

Rouge, La.; Portland, Maine, and Tulsa, Okla., to Delta

Connection carriers and discontinue mainline service to the

three cities. The changes are a result of additional

streamlining efforts by ASA's parent company to reduce

costs and gain efficiencies, while continuing to provide flight

choices to customers. Click

The LAN service is being provided due to LAN Airport authority kicking in a few bucks, however it makes it easier for me to get home, so bring it on.

The Dude, Your Dudeness, Dudeerino:

This is all Delta's flying. One group of pilots in Delta service entered into an agreement with management to have it flown by another group of pilots in Delta's service.

It has nothing to do with the airplanes, or the pilots at Connection. The pilots that had the scope sold it for other contract issues which had greater priority to them.

Strange how the truly responsible parties continue to skate on this issue. The Connection guys are just like the Dude's rug .... getting peed on... ( great movie :) )

XJT has been doing Houston to Cabo for awhile. They also have Houston-Toronto, Houston to Bakersfield, Houston to Boise, and Houston to Nassau. If you think the RJ is just now starting to take over.... go back to sleep sleeping beauty.
