This was the email sent out last night on the 10th:

"There continues to be activity at Atlantic Southeast and I am advising you to keep your bypass form update if you don’t want to return in the near future and make sure we have the correct address on file.

There is a STRONG possibility that we may mail out additional recall letters to some of the 80 pilots in the February furlough group. My advice is that you start thinking about your answer to a recall notice.

I will communicate more as it becomes available. Have a good weekend."

Anyone want to opine?

No. You seem to do enough on this board and the ALPA.

opine??? you trying to sound like that O'Reily clown on fox?
you put this on the ASA ALPA bd too, jerk

1: O'Reily does not own that word. It is in the dictionary for everyone's enjoyment.

2: I did not say anything about that email on the ALPA board.

3: If I did, why does that make me a jerk? Am I missing something here?

4: It is odd for someone with more posts than I have to slam me for posting on here too much.

So, for anyone with anything constructive to add, what are people's opinions on this email? I just want some thoughts from others to help me make the best decision on bypass.

Thank you

I gotta say, it wasn't him who posted on the ALPA board, and I imagine that if I was furloughed I would be interested in hearing all the on-goings on the inside in hopes that I may have a job soon again.

Agreed! No foul...

Some of you guys are wound up too tight. I wouldn't be surprised if some of you weren't getting any quality trim.

Trip 7- the chick in your new avatar definately has, what I would describe, as "child bearin' hips"..............................

Ever seen "Norbit"? That's what she's gonna look like in another ten years- maybe five, if she pops out some puppies.................

Can't say I blame J. for keeping engaged with the happenings here. If I were on the street, I'd be looking for a window into the happenings here as well. You can't blame the guy for trying to keep up with his employer- it isn't like he's on the line to see, hear, or experience whats changed here in the last year and a half. Be it good or bad, at least he is trying to stay "in the know". As far as the ALPA board goes, so few post there, it's good that the "newer" blood pipes in to help dilute out the stale whiners........
