It was stated at a meeting last week. Skywest, RAH (shuttle america), and CPZ were the top perfoming regionals.... Pinnacle and ASA were the worst performing.

No mention as to exactly what that meant, but it was straight from the pooba's mouth.

And again, those are fair comparisons to make, considering the amount of flights and airports operated from that CPZ, Republic, Shuttle and Freedumb do compared to ASA and Pinnacle to a slightly lesser extent.

Nice of RA to see that distinction and treat everyone fairly, let alone acknowledge that nearly all of ASA's operational challenges are caused by Delta in ATL.

Why would you say that? I am simply comparing what has been CONFIRMED by multiple sources that RA has stated in public to the RAH RAH company updates we get here at ASA. All our DCI performance graphs are showing us within the top 3 every day, now we are being told we are the WORST?

Either our performance sux or it doesnt. Why the disparity? Someone is either lying or exaggerating!!!

In terms of cost which is no secret. But in terms of performance we do well.

He didn't mention cost...... he mentioned performance

The rosy picture the company paints is the adjusted numbers which due to where we fly out of require more adjusting than other carriers. The raw numbers is where the disparity comes from right or wrong.

I don't see exactly what DLs issue would be as looking at DLs own performance numbers from the DL intranet ASA ranks w/ DL on the year to date updated to 4/14.

Completion factor:
DL: 96.7%
ASA: 96.3%

D0:
DL: 66.3%
ASA: 67.8%

A14:
DL: 80%
ASA: 77.6%

Not to bad considering to amount of flts we op for DL and our primary hub is the worlds busiest airport.

If tomorrow, DL replaced ASA with Skywest or Compass--all 850+ flights--performance would be even worse considering ASA at least has experience in figuring out ways to work around all the sh## that gets thrown around in ATL. "Tricks of the trade," that is.

I don't know what DL is bi###ing about. They know as well as anyone else who is responsible for any delays in and out of ATL and mostly everywhere else. If the pilots and the FAs show up to the plane on time, which is pretty much all the time, and the plane isn't broken, which happens as often as any other airline, the only other factors are outside of ASAs control and, apart from WX, completely in Delta's control.

As far as customer service, last time I checked, all of the customer service agents in every station are not ASAs. They are handpicked by DL. But realistically what airline in the U.S. has good customer service? If you mean FAs, I think many of our flight attendants are pretty good considering that most of the time we deplane, I hear passengers saying "thank you so much" to the FA or "you were great!"

As far as pilot crews, I see room for improvement in the aspect of customer service. Yes we do have a role. When we are in a money line and it's been 25 minutes and I ask whether or not you want me to make an announcement and the captain says "yeah whatever, if you want"--I think we have some room for improvement. It's not that I want to get on the radio and talk to the pax. It's because it's awful to sit in the back of the CRJ200 for 30+ min on the ground and not know what's going on, especially when you can't see out of the windows properly because they were designed for couches.

Other than that, which is very trivial, I don't see the issue here. Skywest would fail miserably here as well as anyone else who took over the burden ASA has.

RA knows how Delta adversely affects OUR operation.

RA couldn't possibly care any less about D0/A14.

RA knows there are pilots, FA's, and bag tossers out there that could do it cheaper.

RA hates ASA because SKW hasn't turned us into another Mesa.

Wrong!!

RA hates us because we are not from the NW Regional crowd which is tied to the company tit. JA is a shrewd guy, whom RA would rather not deal with.

This is all a part of the large crowbar of costs which is coming.

The un-Mesa-ing which hasn't worked as planned, has simply moved the target.

If that is the case why you blame Freedom for been in court with Delta.
