Here is what our contract has to say on the subject......

5. When selecting lodging facilities, the Company will consider factors including safety, cleanliness, availability of food services, proximity to airport and cost. The Company will make prompt inquiries into complaints received by the Association Hotel Committee regarding the suitability of such facilities.

Cost should not be the driving factor. All those listed have equal weight and should be considered.

The AEX hotel was a jewel. I'd like to know who stayed there and gave it thumbs up.

Interesting. I hope they get us out of that dump in JAN. What a hole.

Well crap...PSA puts us at a YMCA in JAN. All outside doors...in a hood, no food nearby, long cab ride, everything you expect to be wrong is. Clear and utter abuse from Management.

Would you like a 3-day Indianapolis, copilot Barnes?

Schedulers at ASA do not refer to you by your title (rather they try to pass themselves off as your long lost friend in a quest to junior man you, while using calling cards or personal cell phones that are not recorded in violation of our contract.) ALPA asked that CS call pilots by their titles and the company pretty much laughed in our faces. It seems to me that this pretty simple act of respect would be automatic, but not at this airline.

It's the same at SKYW. They call looking to cover a trip, and when you answer the phone (if you do) you get "Is so and so there?" Doesn't anyone teach their kids manners anymore? Sheesh. My six year old knows to introduce themselves and then ask for whomever. She doesn't always do that however, but that's what I expect from a six year old. I don't expect it from an adult.
