Well...the story finally made Fark.com this morning.

Fark story was tagged "Dumbass" and the headline was:
When in the cockpit of an airliner, don't push the button marked "takeoff power" while still in the hangar

Kinda weak by Fark standards...so, for fun, what would your snarky headline be?

Spaceballs

When in the cockpit of an airliner, don't push the button marked "takeoff power" while still in the hangar

A button marked "Takeoff Power" in an RJ? I personally find the CRJ a bit underpowered, thus I always opt for the "button" marked "Ludicrous Power".

As an April Fool's joke this year, I filed a flightplan with the TAS listed as "Ludicrous Speed". ZAU Flight Data rejected it...to this day, I don't quite understand why.
