I know this is getting to be a repetitive post, but has anyone heard anything from ASA regarding class dates? I interviewed and received the conditional job offer letter in December but haven't heard anything since. I heard that the Feb. 7th class is full and that a few guys they tried to get into that class have gotten the March 7th class, but I didn't know if anyone had been put straight into the March 7th class. Thanks in advance...

I just got the app package ( in less than 24 hours!!!!) after the phone call and Julie seemed to want the app in as soon as possible due to another Feb class which may have some space. If not that a March class. Now I'm a Indy forloughee so perhaps they'r putting together something on the fly for us screwed over folks.....

Of course she maybe just saying this but ya never know.

I am in the same boat. Interviewed in Dec and got a conditional job offer letter after Xmas. I got a call on monday, but is was to let me know the the NDR database had 2 hits with my name. So after hours of phone calls I think the problem is fixed. Still waiting for a class date. Considering I have been working toward this job for over 2 years a few months wait will not hurt. I was told in the interview possibly March but more likly April class date.

Airboard,

Sorry to hear about the furlough, but it seems like all the other regionals are trying to snap you guys up. I know ExpressJet and SkyWest are also really trying to bring you guys in, so it doesn't sound like you'll be hurting for opportunities. I think you'll enjoy the ASA interview, the sim should be a breeze for you since you've already trained in it and the interviewers are an easy group to get along with. Hope it goes well for you...

I am also in the Feb 7 Class, Interviewed in Sept.:)

Good Luck!

If she said that, I would believe her before I wouldn't.

???

BigPappa,

When you got the call, did they give you any idea why it had taken so long for you to get a class? I've been told that it's not a first in, first out process there and no one really knows how they go about selecting you for a class.

They won't give you a class until all your background checks are cleared. I don't either know the rest of the selection process for class. Just be patient and they'll call you sooner or later.
