I thought you guys said there was no way you would fly comairs planes? Yea right, I knew that was BS! You do what your told and like it. Go ALPA!

Yes, I believe the word is hypocrates!

All those guys that said that were probably 50 seat drivers.

Is it ok to use our original 70 seaters on CVG flights then?

No putz, the word you mean is hypocrite, unless you are making a really obscure reference to a Greek Doctor from 470 Before Christ.

And was it established that your Avitar was actually a man? I missed the resolution of that debate.

Yeah, "IT" finished up that special surgery just a few months ago.

I stand by what I said, I absolutely will not fly a former Comair aircraft. In fact, if you find me behind the controls of one of those planes, you can have my house (sadly it's in the Atlanta Metro area though).

Must be a 50 seat driver or else he's just resigned for grenner pastures.

Simma down nah! No, she's been certified 100% woman, just one that is just man-ish looking, i.e. Janet Reno. Sorry, it's been a long day and I totally forgot how to spell hypocrite. Thanks for correcting me.

Just having fun. Glad she wasn't re-certified.

If I ever personally see her, I'll be sure sure to take a quick look under the hood for everyone. How's that?

Are you on the 70? I could say the same, but as a 50 driver it would be meaningless. If you are on the 70, how exactly do you plan on refusing a Comair 70?

I never heard anyone at ASA say they would not fly a Comair aircraft. Just like I never expected a Skywest crew to refuse an ex ASA A/C. Skywest/ASA pilots don't decide where aircraft go.

The difference is that some SKY posters seem a little too happy at the prospect.

Growth at the expense of another regional is not a good thing.

I agree, but there are alot of ASA pilots who seem pretty happy with our new growth and the upgrades caused by us getting the Comair 70s. Many of these guys just want the upgrade so they can move on.

We aren't happy about the Comair planes and are hoping Comair pulls out of their problems soon. But we have no choice about which planes are on our property. The difference is we have not caved to get any airplanes, new or otherwise, and have still gotten planes and growth to go with them. They have even taken planes from us to try to teach us a lesson but in the end they put planes where they need them. In fact, we're surprised to get them at all considering SKYW's single pay rate.

we're about to get a few comair 50's too. guess we'll see if he'll put his money where his mouth is.

Really where did you see that? I'm not doubting you I just haven't seen or heard of that.

It cracks me up when someone corrects someone else's spelling and in the same post misspells something themselves. Try "Avatar" you putz.

And his name was Hippocrates.

Forest, I'm curious to hear where you got that info too. Even if it is correct, I still stand by my statement. It's not really tricky to figure it out why, but I do speak the truth.

Yeah you're on the 50 so it is easy for you to thump your chest. Big talker, but you don't have to actually act on your words.

On the money side of things. DAL and ASA menagement just lost a lot of their argument. They are now offering us our vacation pay and then time and a half on top of it if we fly that week. For a 70 guy that could be 272 per flight hour. If we were so worried about money this would not be a possibility.

On the argument about aircraft. We all know that this can and will change at the desires of DCI Inc. We cannot fight amongs ourselves. Fight the bigger fight. I know that is what ASA's ALPA is doing. We will not take a pay cut to get growth. It is plain and simple. Yes, we got the comair birds, but we did not take a pay cut to get them. The only reason we got them is b/c they are trying to Whip the Comair guys and SKW cannot take anymore flying. I am sure it killed them to give us gready pilots any growth. Fact is that it is a business decision. I support what you Comair guys and gals are trying to do. It seems that we are the only two groups willing to fight to keep the bar up at this level.

Who the hell is that "chick"?

Dude, I haven't a clue. Britney Spears was so 2006 that it was time to upgrade. This is the next best thing I could find readily available. I'll keep searching for something a little less "surprise package" next time, I swear!

Would that be the same Comair that agreed to concessions for growth? They agreed to concessions before BK, and now we are flying their aircraft without a fight.

Fighting Irish you are an idiot, we agreed to a pay cut that is still way above your contract, that is the problem you undercut us and didn't even try and match us, now we are still paid more and you are getting the airplanes while we are now in a bk fight, alpa nation is the joke of this fiasco, alpa carriers bidding against alpa carriers, other unions would have already have done something

Why did you agree to the concessions BEFORE the BK? That undermined our current negotiations and is affecting our ability to raise pay.

You should pat yourself on the back. "We cannot fight amongs ourselves" Easy for you to say as you fly away with comair planes and their jobs. "You didn't take a pay cut to get them" bravo, that makes it ok? I think this bar that you speak of is on the floor!

What the do you suggest we do? The mediator won't allow us to strike and the company is not moving much on rates. Most of us would love to strike, but we can't legally. People are leaving as quickly as they can. Don't blame the pilot group. We did not vote to take your airplanes.

Once again, a 50 seat pilot says he won't fly a Comair 70 seater. Big talker and no action.

Hey, d!psh!t... he obviously either:

A) Flys the ATR and, thus, will fly no Comair RJs
B) Is leaving ASA and, thus, will fly no Comair RJs

Why is his statement so hard for you to understand??? Rather than try to understand what the man is saying you jump back to your default anti-ALPA position and try to belittle him. You're a small man, Chris.
