Also, flying in and out of Chicago must suck. United guys hate it so much, they get drunk before flights...

Sure, sure, IAD is great. That's why only 17 FOs have bid for it. The company will have to force FOs to go there. Ya, you are right. It's great! It's all part of my master plan to secure a spot. Good work Sherlock...

oooooooor the top 150 FOs (unless they commute FROM DC) have life pretty good in ATL. Most guys live in ATL or someplace else that's not a easy commute to/from IAD and the bottom third can't afford to be on reserve in D.C. so only the few FOs that live there/can commute there actually bid it. The number of FOs (17) that bid it is not surprising. Of course the number of capts that bid it far outweighs the FOs because a lot of guys want an upgrade at any cost... good luck to them. All about priorities.

It'd be a pretty rough commute offline with all the crap that goes on in DC.

If you leave ATL, you will surrender your parking pass and sida badge for ATL. This is from SH directly, who said they want to reduce costs and get people out of lot 3.

Also, no one is loosing there Delta bennies. ASA is going to DAL and UAL sayig that all pilots, no matter where they are based, are flying both brands. UAL benefits are likely to to come if ASA grows its operations, but you won't loose your delta stuff.
