Just taking a look at the flow board tonight and several CR7 had 3.5-4.0hr taxi out times. So who was out there tonight was the line a joke for deice or was the ramp just a cluster?

AUS,YUL,PWM,STL,DAY,RIC,SAT just to name a few.

I just talked to two people out there flying tonight.... They both said this is as bad as they've ever seen it.....

Can't blame this on ASA or Skywest..... Delta handles everything now......Delta arrogance exceeds it's abilities.....

I can not imagine many times when I would choose to defend Delta's ground handling here, but what else do you expect when it is snowing in Atlanta?

People can't even drive in this town when it's raining.

If ASA was still handling the ramp, I guarantee you people would be pointing fingers at ASA...... I bet they still are even though we don't have anything to do with the ATL station....

I am tired of ASA taking the brunt of the blame for the problems in ATL..... The city of ATL and Delta Air Lines shoulder most of the blame.....

I have no problem with placing blame..... but I am sick and tired of the "chosen" airline getting a free pass....

We taxied out and drove around for 3.5 hrs and never even got to leave the RAMP!!! Line for de-ice was 50 planes deep and they wer finishing 3-4 planes per hour. Then Delta declared they weren't going to de-ice any more RJ's...their planes took precedence. Oh well...back to the gate

Well, whoever handles your ramp duties suck! Can't tell you how many times (pretty much every day I'm there) I've sat on ramp 3 or 4 watching you boys sitting for minutes, many minutes, to get a crew to marshall you in -- ridiculous!

Wait a minute.... I thought our seats were "Delta seats".... Do they not understand that the passengers in "our" planes are "their" passengers....

Oh well... just tell the passengers that Delta doesn't care about them......

That would be Delta Air Lines.....

No wonder NWA is such a good match for them. Can't wait to see if this cluster unfolds.

Who cares! According to ouasa we hit 100% completion factor yesterday! Congratulations!

ATL was never a good de ice airport. In the 9 years I was based there, I can count on one hand the number of events that required a type IV.

It's just not built for that...nor is it economical to make redisigns for such rare events.

Supposed to snow again on Friday for my commute to work....uh oh.

Couldn't believe what I saw in EVV ops the other week. While back there I laid eyes on a chart that illustrated both on time and completion factor for December, throughout the DCI system. ASA was #2 in both rankings- beating out Skywest and Comair in both categories. Expressjet and Republic lead the way, respectively.

Ah, glad I didn't work yesterday- enjoying my 5 days off with some cold beer. For those that are working- good luck and here's to you (Chug)!

If soooo, why isn't this made loud and clear to the folks at ASA? I just don't buy it: Did you mean that ASA was #2 from the bottom?

Awww, who really cares? The first thing that folks look for is a cheap ticket. Beyond that, all is gravy.

Good luck brother...sorry I can't split the cab this round. At least da Trany doesn't require the silly 25 bucks anymore.

have a good trip

ATL-GRR scheduled block 1:56
ATL-GRR actual block 4:09

4-5 planes pulled out of the de-ice line and did a tactile check. They determined that their a/c were clean and departed. My problem was that my plane had been sitting for 4 hours before departure and was covered with slush and snow. On another note, we had a mom and dad with an infant and little girl and neither kid made a sound the whole time. They deserve an award.
