Maybe you should put down that ice cold Kool-Aid, junior.

Now that was funny. The Kool-Aid is delicious! By the end of the summer you'll see why I told you to drink some!

BTW, why doesn't the Union do a handshake agreement allowing reserves to pickup open-time less than 72hrs out? This would fix all kinds of shortage problems.

I'll take your word for it. I wouldn't know.

We'll see..

The ASA MEC doesn't care about issues that affect reserve pilots, and won't waste time dealing with the "little things." Reserve pilots are insignificant. Just not important enough. There's a reason reserve still sucked with the PBS agreement, even though they could have easily had an LOA (not a handshake) that could have improved QOL just even a little bit.

There has been no shortage of fatigue calls for this stuff, and it'll hit them hard this summer. There's a reason they've let KS harass fatigue callers. There will be calls to the FAA this summer, I can guarantee it. More and more FOs and CAs are at the point where they just don't care anymore.

Our MEC is too busy making sure everyone gets an obscene amount of time to figure out if they want to upgrade to captain or not and not enough time ensuring the company abides to other more important contract provisions. The MEC has been bought cheap by the company for 6 hour days.
That is for sure. And as far as the fatigue calls they have a new trick for this, you can fly six hours on day five and if you call fatigue they will adjust your minimum monthly guarantee not the day 3.95 for not being available for a portion of the day! WTF KS will not back the pilots one bit.

Don't know about the ATL lines, but the July IAD lines have 1 with 14 days off, about 11 with 13 days off, and the rest less. Most are mid 90s credit.

Our recall class was combined with a recurrent class today. The FO next to me picked up a premium pay trip on his laptop as he told me how he was still paying for his Breitling.

Heard a rumor about ks being caught sleeping on his desk with drool comming out of the side of his mouth. He told the fo not to say a word. Fo said ok to him, but made it a point to tell everyone.
