Sad news. It sounds like it happened on a layover. Not much other official info, but some other message boards indicate no injuries and that he still had his wallet on him.

Condolences to his family, friends and co-workers. And everyone remember that you do not have to go to a third world country to run into dangerous situations while on a layover. Be careful out there.

He was an excellent aviator and a fantastic human being. He was a pleasure to fly with. This is, indeed, very sad. I hope we learn soon what really happened.

You all be careful out there on your layovers.

Preliminary autoposy report concludes his death was "not suspicious". Final report not for 6-8 weeks.

Heart Attack? :(
