Yah a few years ago I had some bad buffet in Oak City that put me in the hospital for three days half-way-across the US from my home. I lost about 18 pounds while I was sick. Nothing like the Botulism Diet for shedding those pounds quickly!

Before you go for the Chinese, I'll tell you that the sickest I have ever been in my 58 years came from eating in a Chinese restaurant in Crystal City on a DCA layover.

I cannot begin to describe the horror of the experience...but I'll try. I thought about calling 911 but couldn't manage it...didn't care...had lost the will to live. I'll just say that I never want to be that sick again without just dropping dead to avoid the agony of it all. Running from both ends...intense hot flashes followed by wrenching, uncontrollable cold shivers...total weakness...just kill me now. Puke...puke...puke. The Mother of All Diarrhea...want more details ?

I managed to get home the next day, clutching a plastic laundry bag from the hotel...just in case I had to do yet another full body dry hurl.

I got home....slept a full 24 hours. The Chief Pilot's office called to find out what happened as the outbound flight was delayed so...SOMEBODY HAD TO FRIGGIN' PAY FOR THIS !!!!!

I really think this clown thought I was drunk...was covering up...and he was fishing for "probable cause". Who loves ya, Baby ?

That sounds like I was in EWR. Chinese...I guess that's why they call it the PUPU platter!
